I currently teach writing classes for the School of Communication at the University of Miami. I previously taught several different writing classes for Clayton State University and also presented several guest lectures on writing at the renowned Oglethorpe University. I also work as a professional writer, and have sold over 150 articles, essays, and short stories. I hold a BA degree in English from Georgia State University.
Experience
While I love to write, I love to teach writing just as much. I take a one-on-one approach with the students in my classes at UM, realizing that every person has their own strengths and challenges. Because I've also worked as a writing coach, I truly invest myself in my students and strive my best to improve both their writing and their overall well being.
Availability
Tues/Thurs at any time, Saturday in the morning, Saturday in the afternoon

Hobbies
I love both reading and writing, along with anything related to those two fields. I also enjoy traveling, snorkeling, spending time on the water or at the beach, and anything that involves exploring new cultures or mindsets, such as museums and cultural centers. I have a teenage daughter, and I love introducing her to art, history, nature, and all the other fascinating treasures of the world.
