I recently graduated from FIU with a Civil Engineering major, and I am tutoring Math on the side. While in University, I maintained a busy schedule of extracurricular activities, advanced classes, and tutoring students in Math. Knowing what it is like to sit in boring classes being generically taught by unmotivated teachers, I have developed an understanding of how important creativity is.The key to being a good tutor is to inspire the student so that he or she is genuinely interested in the subject. As a tutor, this is my number one goal. In addition, I work hard to create a comfortable, stress-free environment for my students. I try to establish a rapport with each of my students so that they feel comfortable asking questions and discussing their interests and struggles. In addition, I tutor all levels of middle and high school math, along with SAT preparation (Math).
