I am currently pursuing undergraduate degrees in computer science and studio art from the University of Miami. In addition to tackling two majors, I am also working towards minors in public health and mathematics. I have an eclectic range of academic interests and my tutoring offerings reflect this. I tutor a wide variety of courses, including algebra 1 & 2, languages, handwriting, geometry, pre-algebra, biology, elementary math, writing, biology, pre-calculus, elementary school reading, chemistry, trigonometry, computer science, middle school math, American literature, physics, computer science, and art history. I served as a tutor while still in middle school and high school and continue to do so due to my love of teaching and inspiring others to develop a lifelong love of learning. I feel my artistic practice has greatly shaped my teaching philosophy and style. I have a decidedly non-rigid tutoring approach that tends to be highly creative. In part, this is because my experience has taught me that no two students are exactly the same. Each student has their own learning style, academic strengths, and learning challenges. I enjoy creating learning experiences that cater to the student's individual learning needs and I have found approach has delivered the most success.
