EducationSenior Meteorology Major, Chemistry and Mathematics Double Minor, and Pre-Medical Student at the University of Miami.
ExperienceI have been tutoring middle school, high school, and college students in physics and mathematics for about four years. I received 5's on the AP Physics C and AP Calculus exams, I have a 4.00 GPA at the University of Miami, I received a composite score of 37 (98th percentile) on the MCAT (Medical College Admissions Test), and I received an 800 on the Mathematics portion of the SAT.
I have taken multiple physics courses (covering mechanics, electricity, and magnetism), many mathematics courses (covering algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and multivariable and differential calculus), several meteorology courses covering concepts such as fluid dynamics, and a handful of biology, general and organic chemistry, and humanities courses.
I have had a passion for tutoring since my later years in high school. I am not a believer in simply going through problems with students; rather, I have an approach that emphasizes conceptual understanding to ensure that no problem is beyond the grasp of my students. Oftentimes, students are presented concepts in a complex, unclear way by professors, and I do my best to make these ideas easy to understand and relevant to daily life.
HobbiesI have always had a fascination with the atmosphere, and I have been on two storm/tornado chasing trips. I love sports; I have collectively played soccer, roller hockey, basketball, baseball, tennis, racquetball, and casual football. I am a fan of professional ice hockey and football, and I enjoy attending University of Miami football games. I like listening to rock and country music, and I have trained in Krav Maga, an Israeli fighting style, and in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which is similar to wrestling.
